Who processes your data: AZET LLC (Ohio, USA), shown below, is responsible for your data on TONEMOA outside Korea. Payments are handled by Creem, our reseller and Merchant of Record, under its own privacy notice; we never receive your card details.
What we keep: your test result (tone, palette and the measured skin, hair and eye colors as numbers), the nickname you type, and the nickname you use in a room. Your photo is analyzed inside your browser and is never uploaded.
Why: to show, save, share and reopen your result, to run rooms, and to prevent abuse.
How long: results and nicknames are kept for up to 90 days and then deleted automatically. Deleting your result or leaving a room removes them immediately.
Where: data is stored with Cloudflare, Inc. (United States and other regions), which processes it on our behalf. Analytics: only if you choose “Allow” in the cookie notice, this site loads Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC, United States) and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation, United States). They receive the pages you view, how you scroll and click, your device and browser type and an approximate location derived from your IP address, and set their own cookies, so that we can see how the site is used and fix what is confusing. Your photo is never sent, and text you type is masked. Clarity records what the page displays, which can include the result shown on your screen. You can change your choice at any time under “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page; declining removes those cookies. We use no advertising cookies.
Analytics details: the legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time under “Cookie settings”. We use the data to see which pages are visited and how the screen is used so we can improve the service; Google and Microsoft process it for us to produce those statistics. Google Analytics keeps it for up to 14 months and Microsoft Clarity for up to 13 months. Both process it in the United States and are certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Launch notice (optional): if you sign up for it, we keep your email address, language, the wording you agreed to, and the times you asked and confirmed, in order to send you one email when paid reports open in your language. The legal basis is your consent. An unconfirmed request is deleted after 7 days; a confirmed one is deleted one month after the notice is sent or one year after you asked, whichever comes first. You can unsubscribe from the link in every email. Emails are sent through Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) on our behalf.
Your rights: you can ask to see, correct, delete or stop the processing of your data at the contact below.
